Entries Open: Banbury Triathlon (aka National FRS Sprint)

This unique sprint distance triathlon combines a 750m Open Air Pool swim, 20km bike ride in the rolling Oxfordshire countryside and a 5km out and back run. Perfect for newcomers who want to make the transition from 400m pool based swims to full distance sprint races, but without the fear of an open water swim, and a great early season race for experienced athletes too. The race incorporates the British Fire Service National Sprint Championships and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service Championships. Sunday 2nd October saw 6 of Humberside’s finest athletes join over 100 runners at Stowe School to take part in the annual UK Fire Service X-Country Championship.
